Do you have a high-quality product? Avoid a contamination with undesired plasticisers. We support you in detecting and avoiding sources of contamination.

Phthalates are used in plastic as softeners and may migrate into the food on contact. In October 2005, the BfR (Federal Institute for Risk Assessment) has published a reasoned opinion concerning migration of phthalates in twist-off caps into foods. Especially affected are fatty foods like fats and oil.

We have a highly sensitive method for the determination of phthalates ready. We have developed a method for you determining phthalate concentrations in fats and oils at 50 µg/kg. This method is especially suitable to ensure organic quality.
