Overview of the maximum levels of perchlorate in specific foods.
In 2014, the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) published a revised risk assessment on perchlorate. It set a tolerable daily intake (TDI) of 0.3µg per kg body weight and day for healthy adults.
The most recent data and scientific statements have now given maximum values for the foods listed.
At GALAB, perchlorate is determined in a single method using LC-MS. With our analysis we reach a limit of quantification of 0.01 mg / kg.
